Cache Server
Server which copies and stores frequently accessed web content, such as html and streaming content. The server is used as an HTTP Proxy cache server, which is deployed in the intranet, and copies stores the web content, then delivers it to the intranet users. For Smart Content Delivery, cache servers are used as reverse proxy cache servers, which deliver the web content instead of an origin server. By doing so, the origin server offloads memory and CPU load and Internet connectivity is used efficiently.
